Possible Quality

Here you see the quality of a Volumetric Video Asset, recorded with 11 Azure Kinect Sensors (each 3.8 K resolution) and compressed to around 300mb/Min

Not only am I proud of my achievements and tests with Dynamic Gaussian Splatt, but I am also proud that my private portable Azure Kinect stage can create such well-matched volumetric video assets. I am aware that at the moment, everyone is trying to follow the Dynamic Gaussian road, but the asset size and playback speeds pose a challenge if you want to tell bigger stories with several assets running standalone on a headset. I think well-compressed classic volumetric videos are still a considerable solution.

Unity and Unreal Player Plug-ins are available and are easy to work with.

The clue is in the camera position; you must test and try various movements of the recorded performer to find the right setting in several different positions.

You are welcome to examine the asset inside the Quest-compatible, pre-built OpenXR APK using your headset. However, please note that I reserve all rights to the APK and the Asset.

I do not give permission to share the APK, even though it is easy to download. If someone wants to take a look, send them here.
